Red Source is delighted to announce the delivery of 6500kgs of household aid to Ukraine. Working in support of GOAL, an international humanitarian response agency established in Ireland over 40 years ago, the vast quantity of aid was delivered to City Institute, Lviv on 11th July. Included in the delivery were vital aid items including cleaning chemicals, sanitisation products and toiletries.
“Red Source is honoured to have been asked to support GOAL in this project. We coordinated closely to ensure our trucks crossed the border and arrived safely and securely in Lviv. We look forward to working on further projects with them in Ukraine and other countries,” said Mark Forrester, managing director, Red Source.
GOAL has responded to almost all of the world’s major humanitarian crises since working with vulnerable communities in more than 60 countries. GOAL’s purpose is to save lives and empower communities to develop resilience and greater control over their lives and livelihoods.
Red Source continues to supply tons of food and first aid supplies following the sudden displacement of millions due to the conflict in Ukraine. Its focus is very much on cost effective, rapid and often specialised delivery, to get supplies to where they are urgently needed.
