In the wake of the recent devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, Red Source reacted swiftly to provide generators to NGO's working tirelessly to help the affected communities. The generators will be used to power large kitchens that are providing hot food to those who have been left homeless by the disaster. Our response to the disaster is in partnership with Move One (specialist logistics provider).

The 6.8 magnitude earthquake, that struck on the morning of February 21st, has created even more destruction, with many more homes and buildings severely damaged or completely destroyed. The death toll continues to rise, with tens of thousands people reported dead and many more injured. Millions have been left homeless and are in urgent need of food, water, and shelter.

Red Source, a leading supplier of aid, relief, and equipment, has already delivered several generators to the NGOs. These generators will be used to power kitchens, preparing hot meals for the affected communities, ensuring that people have access to nutritious food and clean water.

"We are deeply saddened by the impact of the earthquake in Turkey. We want to do everything we can to support those affected," said Mark Forrester, Managing Director of Red Source. "We know that having access to power is critical. We are proud to be able to provide the equipment needed by the NGO’s to continue their vital work. Thankfully, we have an excellent logistics partner in Move One, with whom we regularly work in several countries, where the environments are extremely challenging”.

NGOs have praised the support of Red Source. "We are grateful for the support of Red Source, which has allowed us to continue our work in providing hot meals to those who have been left homeless by the earthquake," said a representative from one of the NGOs working on the ground. "Their quick response has helped us make a real difference to the lives of the people we are supporting."
