Red Source, in partnership with GOAL Global, has recently supplied and delivered more vital aid items to IDP Shelters in Lviv, Irpin, Fastiv and Chernihiv in Ukraine. The newly kitted shelters house Ukrainian families, displaced by the war.
Key aid items include all equipment and accessories to fully furnish bedrooms and living rooms, a complete range of kitchen equipment, electricals and children’s toys.
“We are delighted to build on our existing relationship with GOAL,” said Mark Forrester, Managing Director, Red Source. “This delivery, comprising items we all take for granted, will help many Ukrainian families start to rebuild their lives.”
GOAL is a humanitarian response agency, established in Ireland 45 years ago. GOAL works with highly vulnerable communities across the world, to help them respond to and recover from humanitarian crises. GOAL assists these communities to strengthen their local systems and build solutions to lift them out of poverty and vulnerability. GOAL is currently active in 15 countries in Africa, the Middle East and Latin America and now in Ukraine.
Red Source continues to supply significant quantities of food and first aid to Ukraine, following the sudden displacement of seven million people (as at Aug 2022) in the war-torn country. Its focus is very much on cost effective, rapid and often specialised delivery, to get supplies to where they are urgently needed.
