The ORISA® is fitted with a long lasting, high-performance ultrafiltration membrane. Simple manual pumping provides users with clean water for day-to-day drinking, food and hygiene use.

The ultrafilter membrane eliminates 99.999999% of bacteria and 99.999% of viruses from the water, be it from lakes, rivers, rainwater, snow etc. The ORISA® unit is purpose built for off-grid rural, urban and challenging environments.

ORISA® was tested as part of the World Health Organization's (WHO) international scheme to evaluate household water treatment and safe storage (HWTS round III). The filter was found to offer "Total protection: with a 3-star rating”.
